Or Cannabidiol...
Scientists find CBD (or cannabidiol) compounds in the flowers and leaves of hemp. CBD is the second most abundant compound in hemp and studies suggest it impacts the body and mind in various ways.
Each body has an endocannabinoid system. In it are receptors that communicate "feelings" to the nerves and brain. When CBD binds to the receptors, homeostasis occurs, creating many sensations within the body.
CBD vs. THC
Both CBD and THC are naturally occurring chemical compounds. Legal hemp contains 0.3% THC or less and does not produce psychoactive symptoms. THC is more commonly used for recreational use and is NOT legal everywhere. CBD is often used for self-care and legal for those ages 18 and up.
